AAS-Health Fitness Specialist
Description:
The program includes practicums in the program’s on-campus fitness center and a 150 hour externship. You will learn:
- How to design appropriate exercise programming for recreational, sport, power and cross training activities
- Ways to prevent overtraining and burnout by understanding individual dynamics as they relate to sport and exercise
- Techniques to use to identify muscular imbalances which may lead to inefficient function or pain, and how to reduce these imbalances to eliminate further compensation
- How to analyze muscle and joint motion pertaining to movement patterns on various types of fitness equipment
The Associate in Applied Science in Health Fitness Specialist program includes additional coursework that prepares a graduate for career advancement.

BS-Health Care Management
Description: An effective health care management administrator is, first and foremost, an entrepreneurial, future-thinking strategist with the ability to coordinate the contributions of diverse and talented medical and business professionals and community organizations.
In preparation for that leadership role, students in our Health Care Management program receive rigorous training in policy development and effective presentation strategies. Coursework emphasizes hands-on problem-solving exercises and business communication. The program can be completed through online classes or at one of several locations.

MS in Management - Health Care Management Emphasis
Description:
The Master’s of Science in Management degree helps people advance in a wide range of careers involving management of others. The program involves three separate focuses:
- Health Care Management
- Information Technology
- Managerial Leadership
To apply, you must have a bachelor’s degree and relevant experience in the focus area of your choice. Students can receive credit for relevant work experience or graduate-level courses taken at approved institutions. Only 50% of the program’s credits must be fulfilled through Globe University/Minnesota School of Business classes. We do not charge fees for transfer or work experience credits.
