  • AAS in Clinical Medical Assisting

    Description: The Clinical Medical Assisting program is designed to prepare the student for entry-level positions as an assistant in the administrative or clinical setting of a medical office. The emphasis of the program is placed on medical ethics, terminology, anatomy and physiology, human relations, skills for the medical office, use and care of diagnostic equipment, venipuncuture, injections, pharmacology, universal precautions, vital signs, hematology, EKG, urinalysis, and microbiology.

  • AAS in Dental Hygiene

    Description: If you're interested in the fields of dentistry, health, and science and you enjoy interacting with people in a healthcare setting, consider becoming a dental hygienist. Today, projected growth ranks dental hygienists among the fastest-growing occupations, in response to increasing demand for dental care and the greater use of hygienists.

    Dental patients rely on you to assess their oral health, treat issues with their teeth and gums, instruct them in the proper way to brush and floss, and periodically evaluate their results. Ultimately, your advice about dental hygiene often affects your patients' overall health and well-being.

    Remington College's 24-month Dental Hygiene associate's degree program can help get you ready to become a dental hygienist and work side-by-side with dentists and staff members as a key part of today's dental office. Our program focuses on the many dimensions of oral health, including:

    Description: The objective of the Medical Assisting Program is to provide graduates with the skills and knowledge that will enable them to qualify for entry-level positions as medical assistants. Since medical assistants are trained in both administrative and clinical procedures, they are capable of filling a variety of entry level positions: including clinical or administrative assistant, medical receptionist, and medical insurance biller.

  • Diploma in Medical Assisting with X-Ray Tech (Limited Scope) and EKG

    Description: Many people go through the process of getting an X-ray, an electrocardiogram (EKG), or both at some point in their lives. If you, a family member or friend have been through these procedures, you know the key role that an X-ray technician or EKG administrator has in the medical office and the physician diagnosis process. With these two specializations combined, the X-Ray Tech (Limited Scope) with EKG Diploma Program at Remington College gives you the opportunity to learn both clinical and laboratory skills. The program takes about 8 or 9 months to complete.
