Health Unit Coordinator
Description: Health Unit Coordinators work at the nurses' station in health care facilities, coordinating the non-clinical activities, clerical, and support functions related to patient care. This program will teach students how to transcribe physicians' orders, schedule diagnostic tests and treatments for patients, manage the patients' charts, and maintain unit supplies.

Healthcare Reimbursement Specialist
Description: Students will learn to transform verbal descriptions of diseases, injuries, and procedures into numerical designations. Students review rejected claims and prepare for re-submission. The course prepares the students to apply for the national coding certificate at the apprentice level. Employment opportunities include multi-physician practices, clinics, insurance companies, consulting firms, and medical billing companies.

Invasive Cardiovascular Technology
Description: This highly specialized program educates students to perform diagnostic procedures at the request of the physician to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with cardiac disease. Graduates of this program will be eligible to take the National Credentialing Examination (RCIS). Depending upon background, students will also be required to sit for the Basic Science Examination administered by CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International).

Limited Medical Radiography
Description: Graduates of this program are prepared to perform x-ray (radiographic) examinations in clinics, physicians' offices, dentists' offices, public health institutions, and urgent care centers. Students acquire the skills to prepare patients for radiographic examinations by explaining the procedure and ensuring proper positioning of both the patient and the radiographic equipment.

Description: This program trains individuals with the skills to efficiently and effectively handle both routine and emergency situations. Graduates of this program will come in contact with patients, doctors, other medical staff, suppliers, and medical organization.

Medical Assistant
Description: This program trains students to handle administrative duties, assist in patient care, perform appropriate medical procedures and take the Certified Medical Assistant exam of the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA). The medical classes are taught by registered nurses and laboratory technicians in small, intimate classes. Clinical, on-the-job training also is a unique feature.
